ARISTA HOMES is an established award-winning home builder with over 30 years of building award-winning communities throughout the GTA. The "A" TEAM is seeking an exceptional Dรฉcor Studio Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our award-winning Dรฉcor Studio. As the first point of contact for purchasers and visitors, this individual plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and professional experience throughout the home selection process. Working closely with the Dรฉcor Manager, Dรฉcor Coordinator and Dรฉcor Consultants, the Dรฉcor Studio Assistant will coordinate appointments, support administrative functions, maintain showroom standards, and assist purchasers in preparation for their Design Studio appointments.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for purchasers and visitors, delivering a professional, welcoming and organized Dรฉcor Studio experience. Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee purchaser appointments, including bookings, confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, follow-ups and appointment tracking.
  • Support purchasers throughout the pre-appointment process, including preparation of browsing packages, welcome materials & guidance on the Design Studio Manager (DSM) Wishlist platform
  • Conduct browsing appointments and preliminary showroom tours, introducing purchasers to standard features, upgrade opportunities and available finish selections.
  • Provide administrative support to the Dรฉcor Manager, Coordinator and Consultants, including scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, filing and purchaser record maintenance.
  • Manage incoming Dรฉcor Studio phone calls, emails and purchaser inquiries, ensuring timely responses and accurate communication.
  • Maintain accurate purchaser information, appointment records and communication logs while ensuring confidentiality of all personal information.
  • Ensure the Dรฉcor Studio is maintained to the highest standard, including organization of samples, displays, merchandising materials, hospitality areas and studio supplies.
  • Assist with product inventory management, showroom updates, display maintenance and removal of discontinued products.
  • Track and report appointment activity, purchaser engagement and other key studio metrics to support operational planning and continuous improvement.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 education; post-secondary education in Interior Design, Business Administration, Customer Service, Marketing or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail sales, interior design, dรฉcor centres, homebuilding or a similar client-facing environment. Knowledge of residential finishes and design trends is considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with purchasers, suppliers and internal team members.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities, appointments and client interactions simultaneously.
  • Professional, positive and customer-focused approach with the ability to build relationships and maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel; experience with CRM, scheduling or design studio software is considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Available to work weekends and adjust weekday schedules as required to support studio operations. Reliable, punctual and dependable, with a professional appearance.
