To thrive as a Design Services Manager, you need strong project management abilities, expertise in design principles, and a relevant degree in design or a related field. Familiarity with industry-standard design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or Sketch) and experience with project management platforms like Asana or Trello are typically required.
