Job description

For over 25 years Mallet Design Build has been focused on providing clients a team of architects, designers, construction professionals and craftspeople all under one roof. Together, we create and deliver projects that range from high-craft residences to what has been described as 'some of the coolest, most atmospheric commercial spots in the city'. Job Summary

The Project Manager is the key team leader in the project's pathway to success; they are the liaison between project owner, architect, superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers. As a Project Manager, you understand the levers on your project and how to appropriately adjust them to ensure smooth and safe completion of the project that exceeds the client's expectations. You will ensure we are on target with project metrics by driving items forward, providing leadership and oversight for all phases of the project from preconstruction to closeout. Working closely with all team members, it will be your responsibility to foster positive working relationships and be an effective communicator.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Construction Project Manager experience, with experience in both high-end residential and commercial tenant improvements a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent combination of education + experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, change management, subcontractor management and financial reporting.
  • Self-driven with a successful history of managing multiple projects simultaneously, on time and on budget.
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting detailed construction drawings and specifications.
  • Solid working knowledge of commercial and residential construction means and methods.
  • Proven leadership skills with an ability to proactively identify and creatively resolve complex issues.
  • Detailed and logical yet able to go with the flow & adapt to change.
  • Effective time management; ability to plan your time, prioritize, and execute work in an efficient manner.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications(Outlook, Excel, Word, TEAMS and MS Project) and Bluebeam.
  • Proficiency in Procore software a plus.
  • Clean driving record.

Salary, Benefits, and Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience. New-hire salaries are usually between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on an applicant's career-related skills, experience, and expertise, as determined during the application process.
  • 7 scheduled paid holidays per calendar year.
  • Up to three weeks of accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) each year.
  • Individual Retirement Account (IRA) program, with employer matched contributions.
  • Cell phone allowance.
  • Discretionary holiday bonus allocated based on company performance.
