This is more than just a technical role. We're looking for a self-motivated leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, has strong project management skills, and is passionate about helping clients and communities through innovative water solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate across engineering disciplines and regulatory agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables and approvals.

  • Manage project execution from design through construction—ensuring timelines, KPIs, and quality benchmarks are met.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and accountability.

  • Support business development through proposal preparation and client engagement.

  • Represent PEER in industry conferences and professional organizations through presentations and leadership roles.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field).

  • 10+ years of project management experience in wastewater engineering.

  • Experience with Progressive Design Build projects.

  • PE license in the District of Columbia or ability to obtain within 6 months.

  • Proven leadership in team management, strategy, and change implementation.

  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.

  • Field-ready: able to visit construction sites and adhere to PPE standards.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation

  • Full benefits package, including:

    • Comprehensive health insurance

    • 401(k) retirement plan

    • Paid time off

    • Professional development support

  • A mission-driven team that values diversity, collaboration, and technical excellence

  • Compensation for this role is very competitive, with a salary of up to $180,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
