Step Into Your New Role
As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will be working on innovative, multi-disciplinary design projects for high-profile state agencies and large municipalities in the Delaware area. You will manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting while working closely with our team engineers, designers and other technical experts. Much of our team enjoys a hybrid schedule, which allows us to offer this role in our Dover or New Castle, DE offices.
Responsibilities:
  • Duties include the creation of proposals, scheduling, and budgeting on energy projects.
  • The successful candidate will interact with Client stakeholders and coordinate workload with existing design staff.
  • Manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor/vendor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting.
  • Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions, adhering to company quality standards (including internal quality control and risk management protocols such as peer reviews), and driving customer value.
  • Oversee pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns, and manage engineering resources within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on a program of design and construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and execution.
  • Devise innovative and creative solutions to problems encountered.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 7+ years of related experience, 3-4 years project related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations required.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain PE within 6 months.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
