Job description

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to help support the Design team through all stages of the product development process. This position partners closely with Design and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate line sheets, color documents, tech packs, samples, and seasonal presentation materials while helping ensure key deadlines are met. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and an excellent communicator with a strong interest in Design Operations, a passion for the Urban Outfitters brand and customer, and an eagerness to learn within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


  • Support the Design team throughout the seasonal product development process, helping keep projects organized, accurate, and on schedule.
  • Prepare and maintain key seasonal tools and documents, including line sheets, color documents, style information, and presentation materials.
  • Create and update style tech packs throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring information is accurate and current.
  • Organize and maintain samples and reference materials for team reviews, fittings, and seasonal milestone meetings.
  • Partner closely with Design, Product Development, Fabric, Print, and other cross-functional teams to communicate updates and support timely approvals.
  • Assist with artwork, fabric, trim, wash, and dye development while helping ensure seasonal deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate sample and package shipments to overseas vendors and cross-functional partners as needed.

 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take initiative, anticipate needs, and help keep the team organized.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to adapt quickly as priorities and timelines shift.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Slides, Docs, and Drive; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Tradestone, or similar product development tools is a plus.
  • Interest in fashion, design operations, and the product development process, with an eagerness to learn about fabrics, trims, washes, dyes, and construction.
  • Passion for the Urban Outfitters brand and customer, with a collaborative mindset, curiosity, and openness to feedback.
