Job Description

As the IT Operations Manager at Cahoot, you will be the backbone of our technology infrastructure, ensuring that our distributed fulfillment network and internal SaaS operations run with 99.9% reliability. You will lead the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of our corporate IT environment, security protocols, and cloud-based systems. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about scaling technology to meet the demands of modern e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design and health of all internal IT systems, including networking, cloud environments (AWS), and hardware procurement.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain rigorous cybersecurity frameworks (PCI compliance) to protect sensitive merchant and logistics data.
  • SaaS Administration: Manage the company's internal software stack (Slack, Jira, Salesforce, Google Workspace) to ensure seamless cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Network Optimization: Support the IT needs of a distributed network model, ensuring reliable connectivity and data flow between Cahoot and its fulfillment partners.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with hardware and software vendors to ensure cost-efficient scaling.
  • Service Desk Leadership: Establish and maintain internal SLAs for IT support, providing high-level troubleshooting for both local and remote employees.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and test robust backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in a 24/7 logistics environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in IT Operations, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth technology company. Proven experience architecting and managing scalable cloud infrastructure within AWS
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and enterprise-grade networking.
  • Security Mindset: Proven experience managing data security protocols and compliance audits.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to diagnose complex system issues and implement long-term scalable solutions rather than "quick fixes."
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
