Job description

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Operations Manager. Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today!

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the warehouse, trucking, maintenance, and safety program functions.
  • Manage the order fulfillment, and on-time delivery functions including product selection, loading, and transportation.
  • Resolve problems regarding shipment or delivery of an order, and order backlog issues.
  • Manage the transportation function including negotiating carrier contracts, compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and legal load requirements.
  • Manage the warehouse function including receipt of products from internal and external suppliers; reconciliation of purchase orders; inventory control and storage design; pulling and loading products for shipment; training, guiding and coaching personnel.
  • Manage warehouse, equipment and vehicles, and grounds to ensure a safe, OSHA compliant work environment.
  • Manage loss control activities including fire, theft, and fleet safety.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function.

Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than five (5) years of experience in related job function. May require professional certification.
