Electrical Design Engineer, Analog/Digital Sensors, SME Ownership Onsite Dallas, TX Job Description

Analog design engineers design, develop, and maintain analog electronic circuitry systems. They will often work closely with R&D to collaborate on innovative approaches to electronics system design.

What will you be doing?
  • Design electrical control systems and utilities for aerospace automation, scaffolding, and tools.
  • Create and update 2D electrical panel layouts to meet internal and customer needs.
  • Select and size system components to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with software and mechanical engineers to design tool network topologies and analyze cabling routing.
  • Thoroughly review all designs and drawings before final approval.
  • Support manufacturing and lab testing of electrical systems and assist with product failure analysis.
  • Document issues encountered, troubleshooting steps, and corrective actions clearly.
  • Break down requirements into manageable tasks for testing and validation.

Location: 100% on-site. Headquarters in Dallas, TX

Qualifications What are the minimum qualifications?

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and schematic reading skills.
  • Understanding of automation engineering, control systems, and electrical equipment.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and other design software.
  • Knowledge of electronic components, hardware, and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some travel (up to 20%) may be required.
