Join a leading R&D team in Durham, NC as a Hardware Test Technician, specializing in pharmacy automation devices. In this hands-on contractor role, you'll support innovation by fabricating prototypes, conducting precise testing, and collaborating directly with engineers to bring new technologies to life. [Responsibilities]
- Configure and set up machines and subsystems for rigorous verification testing
- Assist engineers in developing and executing Product Qualification Plans
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to inform key engineering decisions
- Document results in formal reports for clarity and traceability
- Fabricate prototypes, printed circuit board assemblies, and wiring harnesses
- Perform failure analysis on parts, assemblies, and systems
- Troubleshoot and debug electro-mechanical components
- Maintain, organize, and ensure safety within the test lab environment
- Manage test system inventory and support system deployments
- Contribute to a clean, organized 5S workplace
