Our dynamic and successful Civil Design Group is seeking a roadway design intern to join our team. This position would be based in our Minneapolis, MN office. This group is responsible for the design of civil engineering projects for highway and local roads, public utilities, and related infrastructure projects. The chosen candidate will work up to 40 hours per week during the summer. We are also open to someone working part-time hours during the school year. Looking towards the future? This position has the potential for full-time employment upon graduation from the respective accredited Civil Engineering program.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist design teams with the development of layouts, plans, reports, studies, and contract documents.
  • Prepare project cost estimates.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Current enrollment in a university's civil engineering undergraduate program.
  • Seeking someone who is collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, and possesses strong communication skills as well as an ability to self-start.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bentley 3D design tools preferred.

Salary: $25.00/hr
Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
