Overview
  • Project Designer/Piping Designer at a Growth-Oriented Energy Company
  • Opportunity to contribute piping design expertise to critical infrastructure projects
  • Opportunity to gain additional piping design experience
  • Opportunity to learn and apply engineering principles and methods in piping design
  • Delivers operational excellence by planning, organizing and owning work assignments from start to finish
  • Reports to the Project Engineer Superintendent
Key Activities
  • Drawing piping isometrics issued for construction using CADWorx.
  • Job walks, field measurements.
  • Compiling bills of materials.
  • Drawing structural steel and concrete foundation designs using AutoCAD.
  • Climbing ladders, going up into pipe racks, and wearing fall protection.
  • This position requires organization and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and production requirements.

  • Performs other duties as required and needed
Qualifications
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • Eligibility to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Please review eligibility criteria at https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic .
  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in mechanical, structural or civil engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of piping design experience in Oil & Gas or manufacturing preferred.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office suite programs including Word, Excel, and Access required.
  • Proficient in Auto CAD, minimum of 3 years of experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years CADWorx experience preferred.
Location

The office where you'll work is in Kapolei (Campbell Industrial Park), on the southwest side of Oโ€™ahu, Kapolei, known as the โ€œsecond city.โ€ It is within a few miles of beautiful beaches, camp sites, and adventure parks.

Hiring Range

The hiring range for this position is $97,000 to $121,000, plus a non-discretionary bonus. The candidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
