This is a consultative sales role that combines relationship-building, design guidance, problem-solving, and attention to detail. You will guide customers through their options, recommend the right solutions, and confidently help them move forward with their purchase.
Compensation and Opportunity
This is a commission-only position with uncapped earning potential.
This role has demonstrated annual earning potential of more than $150,000 in our New Orleans market.
Full-time availability provides the greatest earning potential, but we are also open to strong candidates seeking a flexible or part-time schedule.
We provide:
  •  Typically, two to three scheduled, company-generated in-home consultations per working day
  •  Comprehensive product, measurement, design, and sales training
  •  A dedicated operations team that handles project administration and professional installation once you submit an order
  •  Medical, dental, and vision benefits available to eligible full-time employees
  •  Ongoing coaching, product education, and sales support
  •  Significant flexibility to manage your availability around the customer appointments you accept
What You Will Do:
  •  Conduct in-home consultations throughout Orleans and Jefferson Parishes
  •  Learn what each customer wants to accomplish, including their style, budget, privacy, light-control, and functional needs
  •  Recommend custom blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, and other window-covering solutions
  •  Present products, options, and pricing clearly and confidently
  •  Help customers make informed purchasing decisions
  •  Measure windows accurately and document all necessary project details
  •  Prepare quotes and submit complete, accurate orders
  •  Follow up professionally and consistently with customers who do not purchase during the initial consultation
  •  Maintain an organized pipeline and accurate customer records
  •  Provide a complete handoff to our operations team after the sale
What We Are Looking For:
  •  A proven record of success in sales, with at least two years of experience preferred
  •  Experience in consultative sales, home improvement, furniture, flooring, kitchen and bath, interior design, or another high-consideration purchase category
  •  A polished communication style and the ability to build trust with different types of customers
  •  Genuine interest in design, homes, and helping customers create attractive and functional spaces
  •  Confidence discussing pricing and asking customers to move forward
  •  Strong organization, time-management, and follow-up habits
  •  Accountability, resilience, and coachability
  •  Comfort using email, CRM systems, digital quoting tools, and basic office software
  •  Basic mathematical ability and strong attention to detail
  •  A valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and appropriate automobile insurance
  •  The ability to safely climb stairs and use a six-foot ladder when measuring windows
Previous window-treatment experience is helpful but not required. We can teach the products, systems, and measurement process. We are looking for someone who brings professionalism, initiative, and a genuine desire to succeed.
