Letโ€™s create beautiful residential interiors together.

We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our team at Williams & Kay Home Furnishings. If you are an Interior Designer with retail sales experience, please consider this opportunity.

Youโ€™ll earn $2080 per pay period (Biweekly) during your initial 6 months with us. During that time we will train you on the brands we sell such as Stickley, Basset, Flexsteel, Hooker, Natuzzi, Amish Handcrafted.

At the end of your initial 6-months, you can elect to be paid commission on your sales allowing you to earn at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome each customer in a sincere and friendly manner.
  • Listen carefully to the customerโ€™s needs.
  • Help customers find the best solutions utilizing our showroom and special-order options.
  • Learn about our products through informative meetings with manufacturer representatives.
  • Be able to inform customers of the products we sell.
  • Create and present design plans to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to listen and understand the customerโ€™s needs.
  • Succeed in a team environment, yet able to work independently.
  • Ability to learn POS system and general computer programs.
  • Able to be mobile on the showroom floor, frequently walking, bending, sitting, and kneeling.
  • Able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day.
  • Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check.
