Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position will provide marketing and communications assistance to the staff of Fairmont State Foundation as needed. The Marketing & Communications Intern will be responsible for assisting with the development of a suite of communications materials, including informational brochures, spotlight stories, newsletters, social media posts and website content.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Provide graphic design assistance with updating and streamlining general print assets including but not limited to thank you and general note cards, rack cards for fundraising initiatives, planned giving media, holiday, birthday, and anniversary cards.
โ€ข Provide asset creation and design standardization for digital assets including but not limited to templating and design updates in various design and desktop publishing applications, graphic overlays for social media and email marketing visuals.
โ€ข Provide Day of Giving design theme for print and digital marketing materials.
โ€ข Ensure brand consistency across all media channels and platforms.
โ€ข Promotional product design.
โ€ข Be present at special events as requested to assist in the promotion and recording of the event.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and organization
โ€ข Willingness to learn and grow through hands-on, real-world projects
โ€ข Comfortable collaborating with team members and receiving feedback

Minimum Qualifications
