Job description

Job Opportunity

Representing a leading provider of interior glass partitions and architectural metal and glass solutions, specializing in creating innovative and visually stunning spaces for commercial and residential clients. With a commitment to excellence, craftsmanship, and design, they have established themselves as a trusted partner in the construction and architectural industry.

We are seeking experienced draftspersons to join their team in Suffolk County, LI.

Experience:

  • Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) software programs and equipment or a conventional drafting station to create and modify architectural documents, designs, working drawings, forms, charts and records
  • Analyze current building codes, by-laws and requirements to establish how they affect architectural drawings, and stay up-to-date on all required and relevant codes
  • Acquire and assemble information needed to finish architectural drawings, visiting job sites when necessary to gather measurements

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree
  • 1.5 + years' experience with computer-assisted drawing (CAD) software specifically in Architectural Metal & Glass
  • 1.5 + years' experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Project
  • Outstanding communication skills
