We are looking for an Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and is motivated by building relationships, generating new business, and closing deals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hunting for new opportunities and growing existing accounts and who wants a clear path to success with defined expectations and measurable goals. We're seeking a qualified Account Manager to help us sell the products and services that have made us a local and nationwide leader in the commercial and industrial sectors.

Core Responsibilities

  • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
  • Generate new business through cold outreach, networking and referrals
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solutions that align with their goals and project
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments
  • Must be comfortable with technology and online platforms

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls, emails and follow-ups to generate new opportunities
  • Meet with clients (virtually and/or in person) to understand their needs
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM systems
  • Work with the Executive team to design industry-specific outbound efforts
  • Utilize company provided resources and tools to ensure standard processes during all sales stages
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
  • Respond to inquires via phone, email and chat



Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-5 years in sales within an industrial, construction, material handling or similar setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, telephone, and negotiation skills
  • High level of dependability among relationships with vendors, customers and fellow team members
  • Strong commitment to internal communication with other employees
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience closing enterprise level deals
  • Ability to quickly learn products and adapt sales strategies
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
