Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on prevention of disability and restoration of function.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess patients’ muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities, determining the most effective course of rehabilitation.
  • Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants in the execution of therapy programs, ensuring adherence to treatment goals and protocols.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual exercises, traction, and modalities such as hot/cold therapy and massage, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Evaluate home environments for rehabilitation suitability and make recommendations for adaptations to promote client independence.
