As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with fellow healthcare providers, including physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, and administrative staff, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient treatment. • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on prevention of disability and restoration of function.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess patients’ muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities, determining the most effective course of rehabilitation.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants in the execution of therapy programs, ensuring adherence to treatment goals and protocols.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual exercises, traction, and modalities such as hot/cold therapy and massage, as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate home environments for rehabilitation suitability and make recommendations for adaptations to promote client independence.
• Document all clinical records meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to maintain accurate and organized patient files.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss care plans, treatment progress, and necessary adjustments to patient strategies.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding therapy devices and exercise programs to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Adjust treatment plans based on client feedback and clinical observations and remain accessible for additional support during therapy sessions.

As a Physical Therapist at Desert Blossom, you will engage with a diverse range of patients, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery. • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy modalities and intervention strategies.
• No history of disciplinary actions or sanctions related to professional conduct.

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Hands-on experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation.
• A proven track record in designing and executing effective exercise programs based on patients' individual needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships with patients and team members.
• A comprehensive understanding of evidence-based practices and contemporary physical therapy techniques.
