This role is an onsite position housed within our state-of-the-art outpatient office facilities in Sayreville, New Jersey. Our clinic is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and a welcoming atmosphere that fosters recovery and rehabilitation. Team collaboration takes precedence as our therapists work closely with orthopedists, occupational therapists, and support staff to ensure a seamless patient journey from diagnosis to complete rehabilitation.

• Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of patients to establish a personalized plan of care that addresses their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Direct physical therapy treatments to prevent disability, relieve pain, develop muscle function, and enhance patient performance.
• Oversee physical therapy assistants to ensure alignment with established plans of care.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, and provide guidance to patients on functional activities essential for daily living.
• Evaluate and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices in alignment with patient needs and suggest modifications to physicians as necessary.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting observations and adapting treatment plans based on patient responses.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary teams, contributing to case discussions and evaluating comprehensive treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation techniques, home exercise programs, and proper usage of physical therapy devices.
• Deliver administrative tasks including clinical documentation, progress reports, and coordination with external healthcare providers.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies while ensuring all therapy practices are conducted safely and effectively.

As a Physical Therapist at Desert Blossom, you will work with a wide range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is pivotal in guiding individuals of all ages toward achieving optimal mobility and independence, demonstrating a strong emphasis on patient interaction and motivation.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid physical therapist license to practice in New Jersey with no history of sanctions or professional disciplinary actions.
• Strong understanding of contemporary physical therapy modalities and evidence-based techniques.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in creating individualized exercise programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and advanced rehabilitation strategies.
