They work alongside dermatologists to assist in clinical procedures, provide patient education about skin care, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress. Dermatology RNs may work in hospitals, private practices, or outpatient clinics, and they often help with procedures such as biopsies, laser treatments, and cosmetic dermatology. Their expertise helps ensure that patients receive comprehensive care for a wide range of dermatological issues.
