The Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Institute provides comprehensive dermatologic, reconstructive, and aesthetic care through a collaborative team dedicated to clinical excellence, innovation, and an exceptional patient experience. From advanced medical dermatology to complex reconstructive procedures and cosmetic services, caregivers work with leading specialists while helping shape the future of patient-centered care.


As a Registered Nurse, you will play an integral role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout every stage of the patient journey. You'll collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, educate and support patients and their families, and help create a seamless care experience from arrival through discharge. A caregiver in this positiondays, 7:00am-5:30pm, no weekends.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.

  • Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephonetriage,andestablishcare plans.

  • Administermedicationand treatments.

  • Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.

  • Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.

  • Assistwith specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeuticprocedures,and specialized patient care equipment.

  • Develop, evaluate,adaptand document health education and provide it to patients and families.

  • Cover other nursing roles within the department.

  • Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Graduate from an accreditedSchool ofNursing(Diploma,ADNor BSN program)

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross

  • In areas performing moderate sedation procedures and/or cardiac stress testing, must have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within six months of hire

  • One yearof recent experience as an RNORLPN, MedicalAssistantand/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experienceif applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role butremainingin the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting ORa current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor'sofScience inNursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:

  • Full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination

  • Corrected hearing and vision to normal range

  • Some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids

  • Light Work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $33.50

Maximum hourly: $53.40
