Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, including medical history review and skin evaluations
- Diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers
- Perform minor surgical procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cryosurgery
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with the dermatologist and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Essential Job Functions:
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in electronic medical record systems
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as skin biopsies and laboratory work- Prescribe medications and other treatments for dermatological conditions
- Provide follow-up care and monitor the progress of patients during treatment
- Stay updated with current dermatological research and advancements through continuing education activities
Skills:
