Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Primary Care Physician, you will join our established and growing healthcare team in Prescott, specializing in providing comprehensive primary care for patients and families across all ages and making a significant impact on their lives.

Everyday you will provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting, diagnose and treat disorders and diseases, perform patient exams, and order diagnostic testing. You will develop ongoing treatment and disease-management plans, prescribe medication, coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early-detection screenings, and maintain accurate patient records and charts.


To be successful in this role, you will be board certified or board eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician.You will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients. You will exhibit effective communication skills and thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

  • Patient population - 18+; Geriatric
  • Work shift: 4 or 5 days per week
  • Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week
  • Volume: 20-24 patients per day
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Procedures - Suture removal, cyst removal, wound care, EKGs, cryogenic derm., etc.
  • Call: On call up to 4 times per month and the days of the week vary, including weekend call. Weekends are 24 hr call and weekdays are 5-8am on-call
  • No Shift call - just after hours on-call
  • This is a panel position and provider will be expected to see new patients, acute visits, annual wellness, ER follow ups, etc.

We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. We also offer a retirement plan with employer match. Qualified candidates may also be eligible for student loan repayment.


Job Requirements

Required

  • Completion of an ACGME approved Internal or Family Medicine residency program
  • Current Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona as an MD or DO
  • Valid DEA certificate
  • New graduates considered
