Position Summary:
This Deputy Project Manager will lead and support business development, data analytics, and the management, design, development, and execution of large-scale military facility projects, including but not limited to administrative buildings, maintenance shops, and training facilities for Air Force, Army, and Navy installations. The position is responsible for managing clients, budgets, and technical execution across multiple concurrent, multi-million-dollar projects with multi-disciplinary teams of architects, engineers, and subconsultants.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Development and execution of a portfolio of projects, including project profitability, quality, safety, client satisfaction, controlling available resources, project scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
  • Attend project meetings with project teams, capturing minutes, and tracking actions.
  • Ensure superior collaboration and communication within a multi-discipline environment between clients, employees, and leadership.
  • Followinternal governance requirements.
  • Prepare project tools, including work breakdown structures, risk registers, requests for information, issues registers, and decision logs.
  • Support the preparation of governance documents, including Project Execution Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, Stakeholder Management Plans, and Risk Management Plans.
  • Support project change control management.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex projects as a project manager with experience as a DoD PM
    Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and delivering on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct the development of large projects and pursuits with complex features and build key target client accounts.
  • Ability to motivate others and lead teams to implement plans for projects and client pursuits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, including advanced use of Microsoft Power BI.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position
  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance
  • Must be a U.S Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • PMP certification.
  • Professional Engineer/ Registered Architect
  • Experience directing and managing large-scale, multi-year enterprise and engineering projects from conception through completion, operationalization, and stability.
  • Business Development or marketing support experience with capture management, and a background in data analytics.

Additional Information
  • Full-time position with some extended hours.
  • Airline and driving travel required for several multi-day trips per month (typically less than 25% of work time)
  • The pay range for this position is between $135,000 to $145,000 annually. However, the pay offered may vary depending on primary work location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal parity
