Overview
DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER (BGEM):
Bowhead seeks a Deputy Program Manager for an upcoming Navy proposal effort PAE Maritime GEM in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
  • Ensures that all required resources such as engineering, manpower, production, computer time, facilities and the like are available for the program.
  • Plans, directs and monitors program budget and serves as primary customer contact for program information.
  • May be responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.
  • May be responsible for programs of a lesser dollar value if they are more complex or developmental in nature.
  • Program complexity is the primary criteria for leveling, and dollar value of programs is secondary.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering scientific, business, or technical discipline.
  • PMP certification highly desired.
  • Ten (10) years professional experience in program/project management in DOD acquisition; or ten (10) years professional experience in program/project management in Navy acquisition
  • Two (2) years of Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel
  • Must be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work independently with little direction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Targeted salary range is 125,000/annually to 150,000/annually based on qualifications and experience.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for this contract.
