What are the main challenges a deputy general manager faces in balancing strategic oversight with daily operations?

A Deputy General Manager often needs to strike a balance between big-picture strategy and the hands-on management of daily operations. This involves overseeing multiple departments, making sure long-term goals align with day-to-day activities, and swiftly addressing any operational issues that arise. Effective delegation and clear communication are crucial to ensure that tactical tasks are completed without losing sight of the organization's overall direction. Navigating these responsibilities requires adaptability, strong leadership, and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
