• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological states, identifying their unique challenges and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices, tailored specifically to each patient's diagnosis and life circumstances.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities in your sessions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to effectively address patients' concerns.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to foster personal growth, emotional regulation, and improved interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated treatment plans that ensure holistic care.
• Manage crisis intervention situations adeptly, offering immediate support and guidance during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and local community resources, enhancing their understanding of the healing process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate actively in case reviews and team meetings, contributing to collective knowledge and improving patient care strategies.
• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health therapy to provide the most effective and relevant treatment options.

You will serve a diverse population of clients navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. Each patient presents unique complexities, and your role will involve understanding their individual stories and crafting appropriate therapeutic approaches that foster recovery and resilience.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.
• Strong foundational knowledge and skills related to mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed mental health assessments, form accurate diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans.
• Experience delivering therapy in both individual and group settings, employing various therapeutic approaches.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications essential for telehealth services.
• An ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team while upholding ethical and professional standards.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred.
• A deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles and experience working with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapeutic practices.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000.
