Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will have primary responsibility for monitoring and oversight of daily cash transactions and maintaining cash files. As a key member of the Treasury team, the Treasury Analyst will play an integral role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the Treasury function and ensuring the effective management of corporate liquidity, cash positioning, and banking activities.
Role and Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze daily cash management files to support accurate treasury operations and informed financial decision-making.
  • Reconcile daily cash activity across multiple bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.
  • Investigate, identify, and resolve cash transaction discrepancies through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute vendor payments through ACH, wire transfers, and check disbursements while ensuring compliance with internal controls and banking procedures.
  • Coordinate intercompany cash transfers and prepare month-end cash certificates to support liquidity management and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to optimize liquidity and support strategic financial planning.
  • Maintain organized treasury records and documentation to ensure audit readiness and adherence to company policies.
  • Partners with finance teams across AlphaGen and affiliated power generation facilities to support treasury-related activities and resolve operational issues.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with banking partners, serving as a key point of contact for day-to-day banking matters.
  • Facilitate bank deposits and support cash positioning activities to ensure the efficient management of corporate funds.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, treasury reporting, and other financial analyses as required.
  • Contribute to special projects, process improvement initiatives, and other duties that support the evolving needs of the Treasury Department.

Professional Requirements:
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, Accounting, FP&A, or related financial discipline.

Technical Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivots, lookups, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with banking portals and electronic payment platforms.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow concepts.

Other Qualifications
