Job description

This position is for a UNIT DEPLOYMENT MANAGER, PD# D3022000, part of the Nevada Air National Guard. This position is located within an Air National Guard Force Support Squadron, Commanders Support Staff. The purpose of this position is to function as the Unit Deployment Manager, responsible for executing coordinating and overseeing all aspects of personnel and equipment readiness and deployment planning in support of Air Force Force Generation requirements.Qualifications:In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Education requirement is based upon the qualification standards for the specific position and is stated under the heading "EDUCATION". Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities, as they relate to this position. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific in describing your experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 1 year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled; applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management; experience developing administrative procedures.Education:There is no specific education requirement for this position. The applicant's record of experience and/or training must show possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
