Join rockITdata as a Site Activation Lead / Deployment Coordinator supporting one of the nation's largest federal healthcare modernization initiatives. In this role, you'll lead the planning and coordination of deployment activities across multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring each location is fully prepared for successful implementation of new healthcare technology solutions. You'll work closely with Program Management, engineering, infrastructure, training, organizational change management, and Government stakeholders to coordinate site readiness, implementation schedules, and go-live activities that support seamless technology adoption.

This position is ideal for an organized, collaborative professional who enjoys managing complex implementations, building relationships with customers, and helping healthcare organizations successfully adopt innovative technology that improves care for our nation's Veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead site activation planning and deployment coordination activities for enterprise healthcare technology implementations.
  • Develop and maintain site implementation schedules, deployment plans, readiness checklists, and milestone trackers.
  • Coordinate implementation activities with Government stakeholders, healthcare facilities, technical teams, and third-party partners.
  • Monitor site readiness by tracking infrastructure, network connectivity, hardware, software, training, and operational dependencies.
  • Facilitate deployment planning meetings, implementation reviews, and go-live readiness assessments.
  • Coordinate production deployment activities and provide implementation support during activation events.
  • Identify deployment risks, issues, and dependencies while working with project leadership to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Organizational Change Management, Training, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Release Management teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Prepare executive status reports, implementation dashboards, and customer briefing materials supporting deployment governance.
  • Capture lessons learned and recommend continuous improvements that strengthen future deployment and site activation activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience supporting enterprise technology deployments, implementation projects, or healthcare modernization initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating multi-site implementations within complex IT environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing implementation schedules, deployment planning, and operational readiness activities.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
  • PMP, CAPM, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations, health IT, telehealth, or Federal program management is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.
