Job description

Berry Tractor & Equipment - is a full service heavy equipment dealership. Our equipment includes: Komatsu®, and BOMAG, to name a few. Berry Tractor maintains a large rental fleet and provides repair and maintenance services on-site or in our well-equipped shop.

The Branch Operations Support is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of the branch while ensuring operational excellence across all departments, including equipment sales, rentals, parts, service, supplies, and administrative functions. This position provides strategic leadership, drives continuous improvement initiatives, manages key operational projects, and develops a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer service and achieving financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all branch operations to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.

  • Direct daily activities across service, parts, and support departments.

  • Guide sales team with key accounts

  • Maintain responsibility for branch profit and loss performance and annual budgets.

  • Analyze financial and operational metrics to improve profitability and efficiency.

  • Evaluate workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop branch personnel.

  • Promote a customer-first culture and support field sales efforts with a sense of urgency.

  • Maintain branch facilities in a clean, organized, and safe condition.

  • Partner with the Operations Manager to lead and execute strategic projects across the entire division.

  • Coordinate cross-branch initiatives to improve operational consistency, profitability, customer experience, and employee development.

  • Provide project leadership for major initiatives including technology implementations, facility upgrades, operational integrations, equipment utilization improvements, and process standardization efforts.

  • Establish project timelines, milestones, budgets, and accountability measures while ensuring successful execution and adoption.

  • Support the development and execution of long-term operational strategies that align with divisional and company objectives.

???????Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in equipment, automotive, dealership, industrial, construction, or related operations.

  • Experience managing multiple departments and cross-functional teams.

  • Proven success managing budgets, P&L performance, and operational improvements.

  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience utilizing KPIs to drive performance improvements.

  • Proficiency with business systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.

  • Experience in heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, truck, or automotive dealership operations.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%
