Department OverviewThe Sales team at CRFS Cambridge drives global growth by delivering industry-leading spectrum monitoring and electronic warfare solutions to defense, regulatory, and security agencies. They bridge the gap between complex RF engineering and client requirements, ensuring partners have the actionable intelligence needed to manage and secure the airwaves.
Job Description

The East Coast Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding CRFS's footprint across the Eastern United States. You will act as the primary bridge between our technical engineering teams and our key customers, ensuring that our RFeye hardware and software solutions are integrated into major national security programs, air defense systems, and spectrum management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Account Growth: Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts.

- Mission-Led Selling: Transition from "product selling" to "solution selling" by understanding the specific mission requirements of the customer-whether it's drone detection, signal intelligence (SIGINT), or TSCM (Technical Surveillance Counter Measures).

- Technical Advocacy: Deliver high-level technical presentations and product demonstrations of the RFeye ecosystem to C-suite executives, program managers, and technical leads.

- Pipeline Management: Drive the full sales lifecycle, from initial prospecting and "shaping" RFIs/RFPs to final contract negotiation and post-sale support.

Market Intelligence: Act as the "eyes and ears" on the East Coast, reporting on emerging defense trends, competitor activity, and federal funding shifts (e.g., NDAA budget cycles).

- Cross-Functional Liaison: Work closely with the UK-based engineering team and US-based Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to ensure customer feedback influences the product roadmap.

Basic Requirements

Requirements

- Experience in technical sales/account management within the Defence or RF technology sectors.

- Must be a US Citizen. Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of RF principles, EW (Electronic Warfare), or Spectrum Management.

- An existing "Rolodex" of contacts within the DoD, FAA, or major East Coast defense integrators.

- Ability to translate complex signal processing concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Skills

- Contractual Fluency: Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) and government procurement vehicles.

- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% across the East Coast to visit customer sites, military bases, and industry trade shows (e.g., AOC, AUSA).

- CRM Mastery: Disciplined use of HubSpot to track complex, multi-year sales cycles.
