Job description

We are seeking a skilled dentist to join our client's busy office. Our client is seeking a full time dentist for 4 or 5 days per week.  

This is a busy office with all modern equipment! They have an amazing team of assistants, hygienists and front desk, that all work very well together. They are a mix of fee for service, PPOs and HMOs, but no Medicaid.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and will possess a strong foundation in various dental practices. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can enhance your skills in general dentistry. The office has all modern equipment and lots of patients already established.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Conduct restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.
  • If experienced in advanced procedures like endo, extractions or implants that is a big plus but it is not required.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Dentrix software.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
  • Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
