Join Our Caring Team as a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist at Hingham Dental Associates!

Hingham Dental Associates is a well-established, private multi-specialty dental practice located conveniently in Hingham, MA, just off Route 3A. We are committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care in a friendly and supportive environment. Our team values professionalism, patient education, and work-life balance — no nights or weekend shifts. Together, we promote oral health and its connection to overall wellness for patients of all ages.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and personable Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will provide a range of preventive and periodontal treatments, including dental sealants and scaling and root planing, while educating patients about oral health’s impact on total health during extended recall appointments. This position offers a competitive salary, a positive working environment, and a consistent schedule with no evenings or weekends.

Perform comprehensive preventive and periodontal dental hygiene treatments for patients of all ages
Provide dental sealants, periodontal scaling, root planing, and other hygiene services
Conduct one-hour patient recall visits with an emphasis on patient education regarding oral-systemic health
Review and discuss treatment plans clearly and professionally with patients
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software (training provided if needed)
Utilize Dexis imaging software for dental radiographs
Adhere strictly to HIPAA, OSHA, CPR, and infection control standards
Collaborate effectively with dentists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care
Manage appointment times efficiently to ensure smooth office flow
Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Salary Range

Part-time $50 - $60 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

8 hour shift 8 am - 5 pm no nights no weekends 1-3 days available

  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Dentrix
  • Eaglesoft
  • Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
  • Infection Control License
  • Licensed dental hygienist
  • Open Dental

Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license, valid in Massachusetts
CPR certification (current or willing to obtain)
Strong time management and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact pleasantly and professionally with patients of all ages
Comfortable discussing and reviewing treatment plans with patients
Entry-level candidates and new graduates are welcome
Basic knowledge of Dentrix dental software preferred but not mandatory
Commitment to follow HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols
