Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a dental assistant to join our Ohio team. This full- time opportunity is scheduled to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, from 6:30am until 3:00pm) at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, OH. This dental assistant position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry and offers full benefits which include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account. NO late nights or weekends are required for this position! Compensation is competitive at $19 plus per hour. There is also currently a $1000 sign- on bonus available for this position.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Duties:

This position will include both administrative and routine chairside duties that include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. Very limited endo, with NO ortho or crown & bridge required. This position will have more focus on administrative duties. Administrative duties are required for this position, and you will be trained in this area.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Qualifications:

1 year experience is strongly preferred and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers and Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license required.
