What Practice Management contributes to Cardinal Health
The Practice Manager will over the daily operations of a multi-modality imaging center, overseeing staff performance, patient scheduling, financial outcomes, regulatory compliance, and physician relations while ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and achievement of organizational performance goals.
Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the imaging center.

  • Ensure efficient patient scheduling and workflow.

  • Monitor facility performance, productivity, and patient volume.

  • Coordinate coverage for front office, technologists, and support staff.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.

  • Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, and attendance.

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue performance.

  • Review billing processes and reimbursement trends.

  • Manage accounts receivable and insurance authorization workflows.

  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Patient Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.

  • Resolve patient complaints and concerns promptly.
