Job Description:

HOW A NETWORK MANAGER II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems

Maintain organization's systems' workflows; responsible for upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation

Leverage experience in systems management, monitoring and sustainment.

Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software

Conducts basic hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Technical Training; Security+, MCSA, CCNP (RS or Datacenter)

Required Experience: 1+ years of related

Required Technical Skills: Management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures

Security Clearance Level: SECRET

Required Skills and Abilities: Fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software

Location: On Customer Site

US Citizenship Required: Security Clearance

CERTIFICATIONS:

Must meet the certification requirement of DoW 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order. The contractor is expected to have, but is not limited to, the following IT certificate:

Security+

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - RS or Datacenter

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

Intermediate level of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks. Must have experience in systems management, monitoring and sustainment.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.97 - $0.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
