Mill Creek Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced and dedicated full-time Front Office - Insurance Coordinator to join their team. Our Front Office Coordinators play an essential role in the oral healthcare of our patients, as well as the financial health of the practice. The primary role of the Front Office Insurance Coordinator is to answer phones, track new patient information, verify patient insurance, collect co-pay information, data entry, and customer service
In this role, the Front Office Coordinator- Insurance coordinator will assist with answering multi-line phone systems, schedule appointments, manager provider calendars, verify patient's dental insurance eligibility before appointments, patient relations and customer service. Position will report to the Office Manager. The hourly salary range for this position is $26.93-$30.97 per hour depending on experience. Schedule is 5 days/week Mon- Thur 8am-5pm and Friday 7am-11am.
What You'll Be Accountable For:

  • New patient and hygiene coordination
  • Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies.
  • Respond to billing, treatment, and benefit inquiries.
  • Help Maintain productive schedules and confirm appointments.
  • Help Gain financial commitment from patients and collect co-payments.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the office manager.
Requirements
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
    • 1 year dental front office experience required, prior dental insurance coordination experience preferred
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Patient advocate; empathetic, adaptable, and ethical
    • Ability to multitask effectively
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Prior experience with Open Dental software preferred
    • Must have ability to assist in other office duties as needed
