Job Summary and Qualifications

โ€‹โ€‹Under the direction of theย Director of Infection Prevention, the Infectionย Controlย Coordinator is responsible forย the delivery of quality patient careย by implementing system infection prevention strategiesย ,policiesย and practices at the market/site level.ย Works closely with the infection prevention team and collaborates with other departments and disciplines at theย market/siteย level. Servesย as subject matter expert for infection preventionย and mentor forย students at the discretion of theย Director of infectionย prevention and support other campuses in the health system.ย 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC), awarded by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) within 3 years
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Active RN license
