About Smile Starters
Smile Starters is a general dental practice serving children and young adults ages 1 through 20. We are dedicated to educating our patients on best practices for optimal oral health between visits. Working with the youngest members of our community allows us to achieve long-term results, which is highly rewarding for our team of Hygienists, Assistants, and Dentists. Many of our former patients now bring their own children to us — a testament to the quality care we provide.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and families to the office with professionalism and warmth
  • Conduct pre- and post-operative patient consultations
  • Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort
  • Select, prepare, and arrange instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulatory standards
  • Assist the dentist chairside using 4-handed dentistry
  • Perform lab-related tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked operatory
  • Schedule appointments and assist with payment procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Support the dental team with other duties as assigned
