Diamond D Industries, LLC is the nation's leading women-owned heavy construction specialist.  Based in South Louisiana, DDI offers clearing, access, site preparation, logistics, and storm response services throughout North America.


General Laborer:

The General Construction Laborer works independently as well as part of the team in various aspects of construction.  This full time position has opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.


Key Responsibilities:

     *  Assist in various construction task such as digging, lifting, carrying materials and etc.

     *  Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

     *  Load and unload materials and supplies.

     *  Assist in demolition.

     *  Maintain cleanliness of job site.

     *  Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

      *  Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors.

     *  Perform other duties as assigned.

     *  Any additional tasks or projects assigned by their supervisor.


Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

     *  High School diploma or equivalent.

     *  At lease 2 years of experience in construction.

     *  Ability to read and understand project plans and instructions.

     *  Knowledge of various construction tools and equipment.

     *  Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
