Job description

Skillforce is hiring for reliable Demolition Laborers for commercial projects in Arlington, VA. We’re seeking hardworking individuals to assist with a commercial new build build project including equipment removal and Plumbing and HVAC demo support.

PAY AND SCHEDULE:

Pay: $25 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed with possibility of overtime


Responsibilities
  • Perform interior and selective demolition work safely and efficiently
  • Remove walls, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, and other building materials
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Load, sort, and dispose of debris and demolition materials
  • Assist with site preparation for new construction activities
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work effectively as part of a construction team
Requirements
  • Previous demolition, construction, or general labor experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50+ lbs
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Reliable transportation to Arlington job site
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
  • OSHA 10 certification is a plus, but not required
