Job description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated General Laborers for projects located in or around Tucson, AZ.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $18-$28/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a General Laborer eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside the best Craft Professionals in the industry, this is your chance to launch your career!

Job Scope:     

  • Site cleanup and material handling
  • Loading, unloading, and staging construction materials
  • Assisting skilled trades such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and sheet metal mechanics
  • Demolition and debris removal
  • Digging, trenching, and backfilling
  • Operating basic hand and power tools
  • Setting up and breaking down work areas
  • Moving equipment and supplies throughout the job-site
  • Assisting with framing, concrete, roofing, or finish work as needed
  • Following OSHA safety standards and wearing required PPE
  • Performing other general construction tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous construction or general labor experience preferred (not required)
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Dependable transportation
