Position Overview:

Our apartment communities located in the East Lansing and metro Detroit area are currently looking for "ROCKSTAR" Maintenance interns.
The Maintenance Internship position is designed to provide experience in special projects for Peak Management's portfolio of residential properties.
Experiences May Include:
  • Assist with cabinet and counter top installs
  • Deck/balcony, door repair
  • Pipe soldering
  • Repair of faucets and fixtures
  • Replacement and repair of appliances
  • Electrical work
  • Light Carpentry
  • Painting
  • Renovation demo work

Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in the trades and or in building construction/repair
  • Natural mechanical ability
  • Experience with general power tools
  • Enjoys working with their hands and repairing things (previous woodworking a plus)
  • Great work ethic and attitude
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
