What is a demo team?

A demo team is a group of individuals who showcase products, services, or technologies to prospective customers, clients, or the public. Their main role is to demonstrate how a product works, highlight its features, and answer any questions from the audience. Demo teams are commonly found in industries like retail, technology, and food, and they are often present at trade shows, in-store events, or special promotions. Their goal is to generate interest and drive sales by providing hands-on experiences. Excellent communication and product knowledge are essential skills for demo team members.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a demo team member?

To thrive as a Demo Team member, you need strong product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service abilities, often supported by experience in retail or promotions. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory tracking tools, and sometimes food handling certifications are commonly required. Excellent communication, adaptability, and enthusiasm help engage customers and effectively showcase products. These skills are crucial for driving sales, building brand awareness, and creating a positive customer experience during product demonstrations.

How does the demo team typically interact with sales and product development teams?

Demo Team members frequently collaborate with both sales and product development teams to ensure product demonstrations are tailored to client needs and accurately represent the latest features. They often receive feedback from sales representatives regarding client pain points and relay this information to product development for future enhancements. This cross-functional teamwork enables demo specialists to create compelling presentations and address technical questions, making strong communication skills and adaptability essential for success in the role.

About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. We're looking for a motivated, technical product marketer to join the Agentforce Contact Center PMM team as a Senior Analyst, GTM Product Marketing.
This is a field-facing, technical product marketing role at the intersection of product, sales, and technical execution. You'll help sellers win by building and maintaining live demo environments for Salesforce, producing Contact Center demo content, and developing enablement programs that drive pipeline and revenue.
If you've got a background in contact center technology, solution engineering, or technical sales - and you love getting into the weeds of configuring, testing, and deploying demo environments - this role is for you.

What You'll Do
Demo Build & Deployment
  • Own Contact Center demo environments in Salesforce's demo tool, configuring flows, routing, AI features, digital channels, and agent experiences that reflect real-world deployments
  • Set up, test, and maintain production-ready demo orgs for use by AEs, SEs, and at events, ensuring demos are stable, current, and aligned with the latest product releases
  • Produce demo videos (screen recordings, narrated walkthroughs) that showcase live product functionality - not just slides

Sales Enablement & GTM Execution
  • Build and maintain sales enablement assets for Agentforce Contact Center: pitch decks, playbooks, FAQs, sales plays, competitive battle cards, and qualification guides
  • Develop and deliver enablement programs to educate global sellers on Contact Center capabilities, personas, and differentiated value
  • Develop short-form sizzle reels and enablement videos to keep sellers up to date on launches, customer wins, and more
  • Translate Contact Center product capabilities into clear messaging for sellers and solutions engineers
  • Partner with sales leaders and SEs to identify gaps in the field and quickly close them with the right content and tools
  • Activate GTM programs across industries, regions, and partner channels to drive sales and pipeline
  • Support cross-cloud storytelling (e.g., Agentforce Contact Center + Agentforce Sales + Agentforce Marketing) through demo and GTM scenarios that connect the products in a live org

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Campaigns teams
  • Collaborate with Core PMM and regional teams to ensure consistent, high-quality go-to-market execution
  • Contribute to customer-facing events and launches, including Dreamforce, World Tour, and product launches

What We're Looking For
Required
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical product marketing, sales/solutions engineering, or a closely related technical GTM role
  • Hands-on experience building and configuring Salesforce demo orgs - familiarity with flows, omni-channel routing, and org setup is a strong baseline
  • Comfortable working directly in Salesforce's demo tool or sandbox environments to build, test, and maintain demo configurations
  • Experience producing demo content: screen recordings, narrated walkthroughs, or live demo delivery
  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS GTM motions - how sales cycles work, what sellers need, and how to build for them
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly collaborative - comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization

Preferred
  • Prior experience as a Solutions Engineer (SE) or in a pre-sales technical role - this background is a strong plus and highly valued on this team
  • Deep knowledge of the contact center market - CCaaS platforms, AI-powered service, digital channels, and workforce engagement
  • Familiarity with Salesforce's Agentforce Service, Agentforce, or the Contact Center product portfolio
  • Experience with Salesforce release management or demo environment operations
  • Experience activating GTM programs across multiple sales industries or regions
  • Familiarity with Salesforce's sales operating cadence (pipe councils, QBRs, Dreamforce, etc.)

Why This Role
  • You'll own high-impact, technically demanding work - building the demo environments that Contact Center sellers rely on to close deals
  • You'll be embedded with an expert team that knows the contact center space deeply and moves fast
  • You'll have real creative and technical ownership - over live demo orgs, demo libraries, and the tools the field actually uses
  • You'll grow your skills across the full GTM spectrum: demo engineering, enablement, field activation, and product launches

Unleash Your Potential
When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we'll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future - but to redefine what's possible - for yourself, for AI, and the world.
