Job description

The employee may be based anywhere in the continental USA, however, must be willing to travel 100% to customer locations. Don't worry, we have your travel expenses covered and you can earn overtime in this role. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 73,525.00 - 99,475.00 USD Annual at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What You Will Do In This Role: Ensure outstanding installation quality on project sites, adhering strictly to manufacturing and subcontractor quality checklists. Implement Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified to maintain our high standards. Coordinate on-site safety, conducting regular safety audits to ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Assist with routine equipment trial runs, ensuring all installations meet Dematic's outstanding standards. Provide detailed on-site reporting on schedules and resources to project managers and customers, keeping them informed and engaged. Train subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment, sharing your proven expertise.

Write concise and clear trip reports promptly, adhering to Dematic's procedures. Identify and troubleshoot problems as they arise, suggesting appropriate steps for resolution in straightforward scenarios. Be prepared to travel on short notice, spending up to 100% of your time at various customer locations, with all travel expenses covered.

Navigate large construction sites, performing tasks that require physical endurance including pushing, pulling, crawling, squatting, and walking in various climates and conditions. What We Are Looking For: A minimum of ten years of experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, with service experience in AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors being helpful. A high school diploma or equivalent work experience is required, with an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Proficiency in quality assurance practices and a detailed understanding of OSHA regulations, with OSHA 10 certification required and OSHA 30 preferred. Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and a willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts, with the possibility of earning overtime compensation. Competence in using personal computers, database functions, and communication tools, with a solid understanding of hardware setup and software configuration.
