Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Manage all incoming customer demand data to ensure accuracy and visibility for scheduling of external supplier component releases and internal production scheduling. The overarching goal of this role is to build positive and productive customer relationships.


PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Process and track customer sales order releases and follow-up, as required, to ensure timely deliver of finished goods to customers

· Utilize customer specific systems and tools, as necessary, to support and manage demand data, product pricing, and other customer communications

· Respond to customer inquiries or complaints regarding SRI products or services

· Maintain records and files for assigned customer accounts

· Assist material planning and production scheduling in the maintenance of appropriate inventory levels, such that products are delivered on-time and at standard cost

· As necessary, actively negotiate and identify potential solutions to customer concerns

· As necessary, provide sales forecast data to SRI sales and commercial teams

· Assist plant in forecasting to support budget/financial planning


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Understanding and familiarity of computerized invoicing, scheduling, shipping, and accounts receivable

· Knowledge of production and inventory control procedures

· Ability to negotiate and identify potential solutions to customer concerns

· Highly organized

· Able to work independently, managing projects and processes with focus on time sensitivity and result accuracy

· Exhibit competent ability to work within planning and analysis software systems


LOCATION AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:


This role is based in Lexington, OH and would require minimal to no travel.
