Job description

DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a strong, motivated, and charismatic professional to join the Sales Department at our full-service Holiday Inn hotel, featuring over 20,000 square feet of conference and event space.
The ideal candidate will have previous hotel sales experience and a passion for building client relationships, driving revenue, and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and grow Corporate Transient and Group sales accounts
• Conduct both inside and outside sales calls
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability while meeting client needs
• Coordinate closely with the Front Desk and other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals
• Manage client inquiries, room blocks, catering opportunities, and event bookings
• Handle challenging situations professionally with tact and diplomacy
Qualifications
• Previous hotel sales experience required, including booking guest rooms and catering/business events
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education qualification in Marketing or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of Delphi or other hotel sales/booking systems required
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and adaptability to varying work hours
• Self-motivated with a strong interest in sales and customer service
