Work you'll do

As a Manager, Transfer Pricing on the Transfer Pricing team, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyze transfer pricing issues for multinational enterprises in collaboration with economists, tax attorneys, tax specialists, and business professionals
  • Develop an understanding of client business models, industry dynamics, and intercompany transaction flows
  • Perform economic and financial analyses, including benchmark studies, database research, and financial modeling
  • Support the development of proposals, document requests, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the development of Tax Consultants and Senior Consultants across engagements

  • 5+ years of experience in transfer pricing, economics, finance, accounting, or tax
  • One of the following active accreditations obtained
    • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
    • If not CPA eligible:
      • Licensed attorney
      • Enrolled Agent
      • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Public Policy, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)
      • Other: foreign equivalent of the above

Preferred:

  • Background in Big 4, transfer pricing, or financial services environments
  • Performance of economic analysis, financial analysis, or financial modeling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Preparation of reports, presentations, proposals, or other client deliverables

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,175 to $237,375.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
