Job description

The Strategic Project Manager is responsible for aligning and coordinating all aspects of Project Management, from initiation to completion for Continuous Improvement activities. This role bridges the gap between high-level strategies and implementation of the initiatives, while analyzing risk and ensuring the projects are completed on time, within scope and budget. The Strategic Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution of project objectives and deliverables.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Skills:

Minimum Education & Experience required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related field
• PMP certification is preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Project Management, preferably in a Lean manufacturing environment Proven experience leading strategic projects across cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Strategic Alignment:
Drive operational excellence; ensuring projects align to DPC's long-term mission and strategic pillars
• Manage all phases of strategic projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimates
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
• Prepare and present status reports (critical updates & outcomes) to Sr. Management and stakeholders
• Lead project meetings and coordinate communication between internal teams and external partners
• Foster a collaborative environment and drive continuous improvement and organizational change across the teams
Performance Metrics & Reporting:
• Develop and monitor KPIs; analyze data to evaluate project success
• Utilize data to improve processes and support decision-making
• Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure projects meet required standards (i.e. compliance, quality, safety, etc.)
