Job description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established accounting team serving High Net Worth individuals, trusts, estates, non-profits, and pass-through entities. As a Tax Senior, you’ll play a key role in reviewing complex tax returns, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic tax planning insights to clients. You’ll work closely with leadership, mentor staff, and contribute to high-impact client relationships while growing your own expertise in advanced tax strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Review complex Federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, non-profit organizations, and pass-through entities.
  • Review gift tax returns, quarterly and year-end projections, and tax workpapers.
  • Communicate directly with clients via phone and email to gather necessary information.
  • Research Federal, state, and cross-border tax issues.
  • Collaborate with partners and engagement teams on tax planning strategies.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3–7 years of tax experience in public accounting or a related firm (EY, KPMG, Deloitte, RSM, Crowe, CBIZ, Anderson, or similar). This is non-negotiable.
  • Experience working with High Net Worth individuals and/or Family Office clients.
  • CPA license preferred but not required (CPA in progress or eligible is acceptable).
  • Proficiency with GoSystem Tax RS is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and review skills.
Benefits
  • Salary: $90,000 – $140,000.
  • Bonus opportunities and overtime pay for hours worked over 40/week.
